The client will send us the proposed documents for editing, detailing what work they need completed.
An administrator will get back to them with services required, a personal message and a quote (based upon the number of hours required to complete the document).
The client will then agree to the quote via email, accepting the terms and conditions by doing so. This will constitute a legally binding contract of work.
The job will be passed to a field specific appropriate editor and the work will commence. The editor will first read the document to get a feel for the voice, structure, information and logical flow. The editor will then edit the document adding notes as to why certain changes have been made. Finally, the document will be proofread, resulting in a ‘first edit’.
The first edit will pass to the editor-in-chief for a final edit and proofread.
The document will be sent back to the client in two forms; one with Microsoft Word’s ‘track changes’ functionality enabled so the client can manually accept or reject any changes made, as well as read any comments or queries. The second document will be a final edit copy of the document for ease of access post edit.
An invoice will be sent to you via email in the form of a PDF document that will have a 48-hour payment term as you are a first time client.
